Watch Onward Part 2

Available on: Jan 10 2016

Hosts

Make sure to start off with prayer. Then choose one or more questions to open up with.

  • What is the best day of your life, and why?
  • What is your favorite food?

Message Discussion Questions

The following questions will help guide your discussions and give your group some opportunities to open up and share.

  • Thinking back on this week's message, what is the most important thing you think you need to know, and the most important thing you need to do?
  • Do you believe that God has something for you that is beyond where you are now? Why or why not?
  • When it comes to your faith, are you in a pattern of observation or participation?
  • Between your faith, finances, relationships, health, and time management; what area of your life is God beckoning you onward?
  • In regards to question 4, what action step do you need to take to answer God's call onward?
  • What areas of your life that needed change have you been "defensive" about?
  • Tell about a time you took a leap of faith with no guarantee of an outcome.

Live It Out

Encourage your group to start doing. Commit to a step, and live it out this week.

  • On a piece of paper separate your life into 4 categories: Spiritual, Relational, Health, and Finances. Then ask yourself, “what area is God beckoning me onward this year?” and “what does that look like for me?”
  • Now write down a prayer to God that asks for His help on your journey onward.
  • Write down your goals for the area God is beckoning you onward.
  • Post this piece of paper somewhere in your home that is visible.
