Make sure to start off with prayer. Then choose one or more questions to open up with.
1. Would you rather use pumpkin spice flavored toothpaste OR wear pumpkin spice scented cologne/perfume every day for the rest of your life?
REVIEW & TALK-IT-OUT
Go through each main point and scripture from the message and use the corresponding questions in discussion with your group.
Your tests in life are an opportunity to trust God.
POINT 1: IMAGINE YOUR SETBACK AS A COMEBACK.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man, it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God."
TALK-IT-OUT #1:
Describe a "setback" in your life that you can now see as an opportunity.
POINT 2: IMAGINE YOUR BLESSING AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE A BLESSING.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
TALK-IT-OUT #2:
In what ways do you practice generosity with your time, talents and resources?
POINT 3: IMAGINE STARTING WHAT YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING OFF.

Jesus was blunt: "No chance at all if you think you can pull it off by yourself. Every chance in the world if you let God do it."
TALK-IT-OUT #3:
Describe a situation you've been avoiding but now you're ready to take the first step.
POINT 4: IMAGINE FINISHING WHAT YOU START.
Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
TALK-IT-OUT #4:
Despite any doubts explain what your life would look like after you accomplish the next goal you've set.
WRITE-It-Out
Encourage your group to start writing things down. Do the following exercises:
- Make a list with two columns; in the left column list the ways you have been blessed (ie.. health, family, provision) and in the right column write beside your blessings how they could be used to bless others.
- Choose 3 new ways you want to bless others from your list and highlight them.
Live-It-Out
Encourage your group to start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.
- This week establish a new prayer partner willing to cover you with prayer and encourage you to seek your goals and you can do the same for them.
