ICEBREAKERS
Make sure to start off with prayer. Then choose one or more questions to open up with.
1. If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would the slogan be?
TALK-IT-OUT
Go through each main point and scripture from the message and use the corresponding questions in discussion with your group. Encourage your group to pull this post up on their own device to follow along.
POINT 1: There are very few areas of your life that are going to impact and effect the outcome of your life more than your romantic life.
Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
TALK-IT-OUT: Why do you think our romantic life has such an impact on the outcome of our entire life?
TALK-IT-OUT: Whether you are single or in a relationship, how can you get better in your romantic life?
POINT 2: On average we are on our phones 150 times per day.
TALK-IT-OUT: What do you need to do less of every day? What do you need to do more of?
POINT 3: God gave us guidelines by which we can enjoy and get the most out of the sexual experience.
Genesis 2:24 (NKJV)
Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
TALK-IT-OUT: What do you think causes believers to drift away from God's guidelines for sex?
POINT 4: Here are two lies about sex:
1. SEX IS JUST A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
1 Corinthians 6:16 (MSG)
There’s more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. As written in Scripture, “The two become one.”
2. I CAN DO WHAT I WANT AND HAVE WHAT GOD WANTS.
Psalm 119:165 (KJV)
Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them...
TALK-IT-OUT: How can you begin to decipher between God's truth and the world's lies?
