Talk-it-Out: In what environments or situations do you find yourself having a bad attitude?

Point 1: Identify the negative voice inside of you.

Point 2: Qualify the positive.

Talk-it-Out: What are some of your biggest weaknesses and some of your biggest strengths?

Talk-it-Out: Do you tend to focus on your weaknesses or your strengths in your inner dialogue?

Point 3: Don’t just listen to yourself. Talk to yourself.

WRITE-IT-OUT

Encourage your group to start writing things down. Do the following exercises:

  • Do a SOAP devotion on Romans 10. Read the SCRIPTURE. Write down at least one OBSERVATION, at least one APPLICATION for your life, and one PRAYER inspired by this scripture.

Encourage your group to start doing. Commit to a step, and live it out this week.

  • Activate the creative ways you described to encourage yourself in the last Talk-it-Out question.
