TALK-IT-OUT
Open YouVersion and read: Proverbs 14:12 (NIV) & Psalms 16:11
Main points from this week's message: Waterfalls are attractive. Waterfalls draw you in.
Main Point: People chase waterfalls when they lack direction for their life.
Talk-it-Out: Talk about a time in your life when you lacked direction and what waterfalls did you chase?
Main Point: People chase waterfalls when they’re distracted from the path, the people, and the place God has for them.
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
Talk-it-Out: Pastor talked about his family history. Your history does not have to be your destiny. Do you think you need to change anything (people, places, path) to shift the destiny of yours and your family’s future?
Main Point: People chase waterfalls when they are discouraged by life and difficult circumstances.
Talk-it-Out: Discouragement is one of the biggest tools that the enemy uses to get us off the path. What area(s) of your life bring discouragement or dissatisfaction with your life.
Talk-it-Out: We don’t have to let life get us down. We don’t have to accept the narrative of negative circumstances. Our circumstances don’t control our life—it’s how we interpret the circumstances. What can you do to change the narrative in your thoughts to keep yourself from getting discouraged?
WRITE-IT-OUT

LIVE-IT-OUT
